PA General Assembly passed legislation establishing the PA ABLE Savings Account Program

“On April 13, the General Assembly passed legislation (Senate Bill 879) establishing the PA ABLE Savings Account Program.

ABLE, which stands for “Achieving a Better Life Experience”, will allow individuals with disabilities and their family members to exempt some assets from consideration for eligibility for Medicaid and SSI benefits.
